Hi everyone, and happy Labour Day! I'm having a nice one so far - earlier this weekend we had some friends in town we haven't seen in quite a while, and that was lovely, and now we're just relaxing and enjoying the not stiflingly hot weather. Just got back from an 8-mile run in time for the game.

As for the Jays, coming off a series split with the Yankees, they take on Justin Morneau and the Twins of Minnesota. In honour of our opponents, today's title is supplied by the Hold Steady's song "Multitude of Casualties," one of their many great songs about the Twin Cities (Lowertown is a great neighborhood in St. Paul, and also (I've been told) where Morneau gets his daily pre-game sub when the Twins are at home).

Anyway, Lyle Overbay is back in the lineup, as are Travis Snider and Joe Inglett, who's been hot recently.
