If You Were a Bluebird, You'd be Flying: Game Thread for Game 11 Angels at Jays

Well, we sent the Toronto hating White Sox back south of the border and welcome the Angels into Rogers. The Angels record is the mirror image of ours at 3-7.

Tonight Jered Weaver (1-0, 3.00) goes up against Shaun Marcum (0-0, 3.46). We've not had a lot of luck against Weaver, he is 5-1 with a 3.00 ERA vs. the Jays. For his part Marcum is 2-1 with a 3.04 ERA against the Angels.

Fred Lewis won't be in the lineup tonight, apparently he isn't expected to get there until almost game time. So, with Reed flying back to Vegas, we get Lind, Wells and Snider in the outfield, with Randy Ruiz DHing. Outfield defense might not be our strong suit tonight.

The post title comes from a song written by Flatlander Butch Hancock, "If You Were a Bluebird". I figured even if Hugo was out tonight we could have an obscure reference, though I'm sure he'd know the song.
