I like this ship, it's exciting - Gm 52- O's @ Jays

Yesterday was a great day. First the Jays power themselves to another victory breaking the team record for HR in a single month in the process. Then Halladay tosses a perfect game for the Phils vs the Marlins. MLB.com streamed the last couple of innings of the game for free and I managed to get to a computer to watch the last inning. Halladay is proving to the rest of baseball what we knew for years. That he is the best pitcher in the game today.

Today we go for the sweep. We have scored 5 runs in each of the first two games of the series helped out by our friend the long ball. Everything seems to be clicking for us in the series. Good pitching timely hitting good arms arms out of the pen. Things seem to be rolling along and looking good for us to build momentum for the upcoming games against the divisional rivals.

On the bump today we have Jeremy Guthrie taking on our 2nd 3rd 1a 1c umm starter Ricky Romero. Can I just say how happy I am right now with the top part of our rotation? Marcum, Cecil and Romero all look great and it bodes well for our future that we have three potential top of the rotation starters. That is of course not counting the other arms we have in the pipeline with Litsch, Rzep, Morrow (if he can harness his stuff....) Drabek, Mills and a host of others. Love having the pitching depth..
