No, what does "exacerbate" mean? - Game 32 - Jays @ ChiSox

A 6 game winning streak and we have gained exactly 0.5 of a game on the Yanks. Don't you love playing in the AL East?

Yesterday's game was a lot of fun, back and forth and we ended up winning in extras on the strength of a 3 run long ball from Alex Gonzalez. He has really shown himself to a great shortstop for us this early going. Strong defense combined with some pop in that bat and he really helps out the bottom part of the lineup, and to add to all of this our pitchers continued doing well even with Gregg looking human for the first time in awhile.

Our road record currently sits at 11-3. Wow. I know the road teams we have faced haven't been that great but come on regardless that is an impressive number. If only we could play as well at home. I don't know how the rest of the season will play out but watching the team play like this and stay in pretty much every game even when they lose is entertaining. That being said. It is sure nice to win.

Today we have Cecil taking on Peavy. Cecil has pitched quite well ever since he was called up from AAA to fill the spot in the rotation vacated by Tallet's injury. Peavy on the other hand is still trying to work himself back into a groove. But his 6+ERA and poor K/BB ratio does not inspire confidence. Let's hope we continue our success against him. Last time out we knocked him around for 8 hits and 7ER in only 5.2 innings. Let's do that again.
