In fact, you're probably seeing double - Gm 98 - Jays @ Tigers

It's game 1 of the double header! We have a lot of baseball on the docket today and I for one am looking forward to it. On top of that its a double header against Detroit. I really miss having them as a rival, it makes no sense that we aren't in the same division given how close we are but alas until they make a more balanced schedule it is only two series a year so lets enjoy.

If anyone missed it earlier Sportsnet Connected in the morning had a piece on the Jays and Tigers rivalry from back in the day and how London became almost the dividing line. There are still bars in London that put up Tiger's articles and are quote un-quote "Tigers Bars" even though they play more Hockey then anything else. It was a nice piece and really made me miss the rivalry more.

For game 1 of the double header we have Brett Cecil taking on the un-perfect game himself Armando Galarraga. We know Cecil and what he has done this year, Started ok, then went down to awful before being lights out for a long stretch of games. These stretches of games had many Jays fans and commentators saying how we had 3 potential aces in Marcum, Romero and Cecil. Then Cecil hit a bit of a wall and started to struggle as young pitchers are apt to do. This brought out the doom and gloom crowd and how Cecil wouldn't amount to anything more than a 5th starter. Maybe there is a happy medium?

The lineup for Game 1 features only one change from yesterday. Molina will be behind the plate for Cecil and he drops down to the 9 spot bumping up Overbay and EE.
