I know. I'm like a Jedi like that. - Gm 102 - Orioles @ Jays

Make it 12! Make it 12! Make it 12! Tonight the Jays go for their 12th straight win over the O's. Last nights game was amazing featuring a little bit of everything in Home Runs, Great defense (mixed in with some poor defense) good pitching. Overall it was just a good ol fashioned whoopin.

To get the 12th win against the O's the Jays have decided to challenge themselves and instead of sending one of their regulars to the mound they are going to send a rookie in Brad Mills to the mound to give the O's a fighting chance. (Please note I know the reason he was called up was due to the doubleheader, but play along ok? Ok good). The sacrificial lamb for the O's will be Jeremy Guthrie who may be making his last start in Oriole Orange as he has been linked to a few rumours. To add fuel to the fire of those rumours Guthrie has actually pitched pretty well in his last two starts after the all-star break including one against our very own Jays. In that game he went 6.2 innings only giving up 1 ER on a solo shot from Fred Lewis to lead off the game. He struck out 6 but left with the no-decision as Jedi himself hit a 2 run bomb in the 8th to give the Jays the lead and the victory.

In the lineup there are absolutely 0 changes from yesterday.

All the rage across the Jays blogosphere seems to be whether or not to trade Jose Bautista. There is a fanshot on the side bar here, The Drunks basically did a point counter-point with Stoten and Parkes, Tao has an article up as does Ghost Runner on First.... BlueJayhunter is talking about Bautista too, but as a founding member of the BAS he never really stopped so he doesn't count.

For me I fall into the camp of feeling its pointless to debate. Without knowing the offers, its hard to say. I am of the opinion that you listen for offers to everyone and anyone on your roster and it is really only a debate when you get something that may or may be worth it. So debate on fellow Banterers, just don't expect me to take a side in the trade debates.
