Nobody does the right thing - Gm 117 - Jays @ Angels

Well after the great game we got to witness (well some of us that didn't pass out that is) on Friday night, last night was a bit of a letdown. Nothing seemed to be working for Cecil as he got hit around hard to the tune of 7 earned runs in 5.1 innings. It was just not a good game overall, we barely mustered any offense and our starting pitching wasn't good, Tallet and Janssen came in to pitch 2.1 innings of scoreless ball to close it out.

Today we have Ricky Romero fresh off signing his new record setting extension. Let's hope that he doesn't fall into the same trap that has befallen so many before him where his work ethic and focus starts to wain after signing the first big contract. In all of his interviews he has said all of the right things, saying how this doesn't change who he is and he seemed quite humble, but I know deep down inside he was jumping for joy and rightly so, as would I. Congrats on the extension Ricky, you deserve it.

Opposing Romero will be Dan Haren, Dan has been bounced back and forth between the National League and American League for awhile now but he still pitches quite consistently. With all of the talent that the Angels have it is amazing to see them still floating around the 60-58 mark, but I guess when you are sitting 22nd in the League in team ERA you are starting in a hole (for reference the Jays currently sit 18th... thanks a lot Tallet.... just kidding, sort of).

I am currently at the in-laws for a lunch BBQ consisting of Hamburgers and Corn on the Cob so I won't be around at game time, If someone could post the lineup that would be great. Currently there are no reports on Twitter from Bastian, ShiDavidi or the BlueJay feed on what the lineups are.. so I am just going to venture a guess and say regardless of what the lineup is or the order, somehow, someway and for some reason it will be Cito's fault.

Tune in after the jump for Series Info and Lineups.... well hopefully if someone posts them.
