Well hello Burnett. We meet again. Hows the dark side treating you? I bet all of the money felt better when they were giving you the Bronx cheer for how you were pitching for most of this season. Don't worry about us, we got a cheaper and more likable version of you in Brandon Morrow, hey what do you know that's the guy that you are facing tonight. This should be fun.
We have two strikeout pitchers taking the mound so if they are both on it could be quite the pitching duel. Granted on the otherhand Burnett's K totals have really died off this year. This is most likely the route of his problems this year. Without his strikeout pitch working for him when he gets into trouble he can't get out of it. On the flip side of that coin, Morrow's K totals have been great all year and hopefully we get to watch him rake up those numbers against the Bronx bombers tonight.
The lineup features a few changes tonight. Lind takes a seat and Lewis takes his spot as the DH and leads off. Snider takes over in LF and bats 7th. Molina is behind the plate to catch Morrow and bats 9th. Why on days where Molina is behind the plate is it ok to bat Snider in front of EE but not on days when Buck is in the lineup? I don't get it, And I am not just trying to find a way to pick on Cito. Can anyone really explain this to me?
