You look really nice today. It's the green. It brings out the seriousness in your eyes - Gm 122 - Jays @ BoSox

It's baaaaaaack.
It's baaaaaaack.

Well yesterday on the way home from work on a lark I stopped by the grocery store at the corner and picked up a pack of Orangina. Apparently it still works. Although earlier in the year it was a series of come back games that happened when I drank it.... but if this happens again I promise to buy enough of a supply to last the rest of the year... I wonder if it will work for the Leafs... Nah nothing is that strong. I am really glad it is working as a good luck charm and not the other way around, I really like the stuff and it would be hard to give it up.

Last night was simply great, the pitching, the hitting (obviously) and everything else was just clicking. Let's hope tonight is just as fun as I want to read more of those wonderful comments from SOSH that Joanna so kindly reposts.

On the bump we have Ricky Romero taking on Daisuke Matsuzaka. Romero is coming off that fantastic start vs the Angels. So far this year Romero has faced the Sox twice and has not faired the greatest either time. He is 0-1 in those two starts throwing a total of 8.1 innings against them giving up 14 runs (10 earned) with 5BBs and 6Ks. That's an ERA of 11.11, and a WHIP of 2.22... not exactly Ace like material. So now is the perfect time to break out the "Small Sample Size" argument since its working in my defense.

W-L G GS CG SHO SV BS IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP

For the lineup we are the suprise omission of Adam Lind for the second straight game as Lewis continues in the DH spot with Snider, Wells and Bautista manning the outfield. EE misses his second straight game with John McDonald getting the second start.

According to Bastian here and here, Lind was left out of the lineup because he only has 3 hits in 24 at bats vs Dice-K and EE is feeling a lot better and could be back in the lineup tomorrow.

I would have thought Bautista would move into the hot corner and let Snider move over to right with Lewis in Left so Lind could play. But in all honesty I am just really tired about arguing and complaining about these things so I am just going to go with it and hope for the best. At the very least Snider should provide protection for McDonald batting behind him and maximize his at-bats taking the 9 spot.................Oie. Let's hope the Orangina can work it's magic again.

Let's just move onto the lineups and Series info before I develop a twitch.
