All that stuff about missing the rivalry with the Tigers yesterday? Yeah forgot about that, now I just want to beat them... although I suppose that is what a rivalry is all about isn't it... so maybe I do actually want it? I'm so confused. TGIF because I think I may have lost the ability to rationally think something through.
Tonights game is on the much maligned Sportsnet 1 channel. I don't know what you guys are all complaining about, Rogers is an awesome company and are the clearly the bestest thing in world by a country mile. This channel is a great game that will increase the Jays exposure across the Country, it is clearly your own cable providers fault if they don't want to cooperate and give you what you want. What was that? Oh no, I have always wore this Rogers Hat, shirt and cargo shorts.... No no that's not a free Rogers PVR that was ummm... a gift... and this new cell phone ... no no that's just umm.. I found that yeah... umm... RED ALERT RED ALERT Cover blown RETREAT RETREAT!
In All seriousness I won't be watching the game on Sportsnet 1 tonight, (even though I get the channel) in honour of my friends and colleagues here and around the country that don't have the opportunity. I will watch online or listen on the radio.... ok Fine Im going out and will miss most of it but its the thought that counts right?
Almost secondary to this whole Sportsnet 1 thing is the fact that there is actually a game to be played tonight and it could be a very good game with two good pitchers taking the mound. Justin Verlander is taking on Shaun Marcum in the battle of the number 1s.
Good News Everyone! Snider is back in the lineup and playing LF, you know what that means, because he is taking over for Lewis he will be taking his spot in the lineup as well and bat leadoff. There are no other changes from our normal lineup. Buck is behind the plate to catch Marcum which is what you would expect with Morrow and a day game happening tomorrow.
Tune in after the jump for series info and Lineups.
Keep it Civil and Go Jays Go
