It's our last set of the season against the lackluster O's. Up until the last series we had dominated to the tune of 12 wins 0 losses. Being on the other end of the sweep was not nearly as fun as the O's really have turned things around since the installed their new manager.
A hot topic around the Blue Jays Blogosphere lately is that of the impending vacated managers position with all kinds of names being thrown out there. Personally I like Butterfield, but that could have a lot to do with already being comfortable with him and not being as familiar with some of the other names. Regardless of what happens there are also rumours out there of Butterfield will leave us to join his old friend in Baltimore and that would be a shame. I know! Let's put Buck Martinez, Pat Tabler, Rance Mulliniks and Darren Fletcher in as co-managers, that would be great!..... I'm so drunk right now.
Today we have Brett Cecil who by Richard Griffin's favorite stat is a better pitcher then Felix Hernandez taking on Chris Tillman of the O's. Let's hope Cecil can regain some form and finish out the year strong. His last two starts has risen his ERA almost a full 0.5, not good.
For our lineup, Snider is out, JPA is out, Wise In and in LF leading off and Buck is behind the plate. Edwin Encarnacion is manning the hot corner and batting 9th.
Tune in after the jump for full lineups and series Info.
