Sweep time! Sorry don't have much time for a write up today. Taking the girls out for a bit and I am going to miss some of the game because of it.
Just a quick few words about walk-offs. They are awesome. That is all.
Shaun Marcum goes for the sweep for us. I know I should feel sorry for the O's with all the crap they had dealt with this year and the fact that they toil away in the same division as us, but there is something about them that I really dislike. Maybe its how the fans hated Cito after the whole Mussina incident... Maybe its all the Wieters hype who knows. I would love to sweep them again just to cap off the season series against them.
We go up against Rick Vandenhurk who will making his first start of the year. In his previous 6 appearances he has racked up 12 innings while surrendering 7 Runs (6 earned). Let's hope we can take advantage
One change from the lineup of yesterday is shortstop of the future slots into the lineup instead of Yunel Escobar, he will bat 9th and bump everyone else up. Aaron Hill moves up to the 2nd spot in the order to keep Bautista/Vernon 3 and 4. Snider stays in the lineup leading off.
I hadn't heard anything about Escobar being hurt so hopefully its just a day off.
