The Jays picked up Wil Ledezma off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Ledezma, a left-handed pitcher, has had an up and down career. Walks too many, doesn't strike out enough. Last year he had real trouble getting out lefty batters, which isn't a good thing for someone that should be fighting it out for a job as a lefty specialist for the team. In his career he's had a slight reverse split (right handers have a .794 OPS, lefties .802 in his career).
