Blue Jays 0 Tigers 1

So 18 innings into spring and no runs. Just keep repeating pitchers are ahead of batters early in spring.

Offensively we got 3 hits and 3 walks today. One hit each for McCoy, Lind and Molina. Walks for Lind, Gose and Sierra.

Our pitchers did well. Marc Rzepczynski was particularly impressive, 2 innings, no hits, no walks and 2 strikeouts. Jesse Litsch pitched 2 scoreless as well, 1 hit, 1 k and one long fly caught at the wall by Moises Sierra. Henderson Alvarez gave up the only run of the game in his 2 innings, unearned because of a Molina error. He gave up 2 hits. Sean Henn and Winston Abreu pitched an inning each.

We had some good defense. Brett Lawrie made a few nice plays, Adeiny Hechavarria had a nice play at short and Moises Sierra made a nice catch.

Tomorrow the Jays play the Phillies and the game is on MLB.tv and since my subscription from last year hasn't run out, I'm going to try to watch at least some of it. Roy Halladay is to pitch the first couple of innings for the Phillies. Jo Jo Reyes does the same for the Jays.
