We knew it was coming but Gregor Chisholm twitterated (for those that don't like Thwipped) this:

Brett Lawrie has been returned to the club's Minor League camp.... is set to begin the season with Triple-A Las Vegas.

I planned to write about Lawrie today but other stuff got in the way. I enjoyed watching him play last week, but getting to watch him, I do really feel he needs more time to learn third. He was ok, but there were a couple of plays he where you could see his inexperience.

On the flip side, he clearly hustles. Everyone says how hard he works and his bat looks really good. He looks in great shape. and he gets down to first as fast as anyone.

I'm sure we'll see him in Toronto soon.
