Red Sox 3 Blue Jays 2 (7.5 innings, called due to rain)
So it rains in Florida. Still better than snow. They had a couple of rain delays today, one that slowed the start of the game and one after the 5th. Then enough rain to call the game after the Red Sox half of the 7th.
Pitching:
Kyle Drabek: Good start for Kyle, 5 innings, 5 hits, 1 earned, no walks, 5 k. 2.81 ERA for the spring. Looks like he is ready to start game two for the Jays.
- Frank Gailey: 1.0, 1 hit, 1 k. Nice job for a pitcher that hasn't been to Double-A yet.
- Carlos Villanueva: 1.0, 2 hits, 2 earned, 3 k, 1 HR. Took the loss. Pretty much his only bad outing of the spring. 2.08.
- Casey Janssen: 1.0, 1 hit. 1.74.
Bats:
- Raijai Davis: 0 for 2. .362.
- Escobar: 0 for 2. .400.
- Bautista: 0 for 2, k. .382.
- Lind: 1 for 2, run, k. .352.
- Hill: 2 for 2, 2 doubles, RBI. .471.
- Rivera: 1 for 2, RBI. .377.
- Snider: 0 for 2. .333.
- Encarnacion: 0 for 2. .246.
- Molina: 0 for 2.
Looks like Aaron bat wasn't hurt by the time off. Let's start the season early, we are ready. Oh well, 4 more sleeps.
