Not great results for Brett Cecil but John Lott twitters that he was happier with the velocity and that he felt he wasn't missing by much. I did get the feeling he was pretty much just throwing the fastball, that there wasn't all that much 'pitching' going on. Glad he is happy. All in Cecil pitched just 4 innings, giving up 9 hits, 2 walks and 4 earned runs.
- David Purcey: 2 innings, 2 hits, 2 k. 3.86. Best appearance of the spring for him.
- Shawn Camp: 1.0, 1 walk, 1 k. 1.35.
- Jason Frasor: 1.0. 1.50.
Bats:
- Davis: 0 for 4, 2 k. .339.
- Escobar: 1 for 4, run, k. .391.
- Bautista: 1 for 3, run, walk. .379.
- Lind: 2 for 4, homer, k. .362.
- Hill: 2 for 4, double, 2 runs, 3 RBI. .524.
- Rivera: 3 for 4, 2 RBI, k. .404. Seems like he took to the DH role well.
- Snider: 1 for 1. .346.
- McCoy: 1 for 2, walk, RBI. .311.
- Encarnacion: 0 for 3. .234.
- Arencibia: 0 for 4, k. .172.
So one more spring game and then we get to the regular season. Yay.
