Last night was awesome! As Tom said in the recap it was crazy and had everything you could want. Controversy, good and bad pitching, good and bad hitting, lots of runs and by the end it was a nailbiter edge of your seat 1 run lead. Of course Rauch comes into the game in the 9th and slams the door shut with a no-nonsense 1-2-3 inning. Gotta love it.
Boston has to be hurting, a 2-10 start? Who said that coming? The division may be a bigger dogfight then I thought earlier in the season. I know its still early, but no team at no time wants to go on the type of stretch that Boston has gone on. Whether its the beginning, middle or end of the season it is never a good thing.
Todays matchup has the potential to be a barnburner as well. Beckett has been pretty unreliable over the past little while, granted he was pretty good in his last start. And with Jo-Jo, I still don't know what to expect any time he pitches. That being said, if both pitchers are going well you would have to think the edge goes to Beckett.
