Well that was ugly. Beckett completely dominated us yesterday while Jo-Jo looked every bit the player that is about to be cut. With Cecil's bounce back game against the Sox and the performance that Litsch has put together so far it is looking more and more likely that Jo-Jo is the odd man out. We discuss the different options the team has in regards to player movement in our latest podcast, if you haven't had a chance to listen scroll down and give it a whirl!
To help out the Boys in Blue (or most likely Black or Gray) I'm breaking out my good luck charm from last year.... That's right. The Orangina is back! Booyah!
Interesting notes before we get to todays game. As per Gregor Chisholm, Farrell confirmed that Morrow will make his final tuneup rehab start today and while there is no word on when we will see him with the Jays it seems like a safe bet to say Friday or Saturday.
Also from Gregor, Francisco is scheduled to pitch in another rehab outing today and will likely rejoin the club early in the coming week.
The following lineup will be opposing the dominant lefty from Boston:
Escobar SS, Patterson CF, Bautista RF, Lind 1B, Hill 2B, Arencibia C, Snider DH, Rivera LF, Nix 3B
It will be interesting to see how Lind and Snider fair against Lester.
For the Sox
Crawford LF, Pedroia 2B, Gonzalez 1B, Youkilis 3B, Ortiz DH, Lowrie SS, Drew RF, Saltalamacchia C, Ellsbury CF
Remember to keep it Civil and GO JAYS GO!
