Everything is bigger in Texas - Gm 24 - Jays @ Texas - GameThread

Including the scores (HEY-O!)

Another game, Another Jays victory. A very nice way to start this road trip. Texas may not be as hot as they were at the start of the year but they can still pound the tar off a ball and so far in the series our pitchers have done enough for us to win. Our Hitters? Well what can you say, they have really come alive in the series scoring 6 and 10 runs respectively. First and foremost Bautista is leading the way. He is getting more and more talk as the best hitter currently going in the league. That is some high praise, and he is locked up. So far Alex is looking like he made the right move.

I am going to missing most of the game again tonight. Partly out of superstition and partly because I just got my new computer and I going to be spending time getting it up and ready. As always I will keep poking my head in here and there to say hello and keep an eye out for needed overflow threads.

Today could be interesting. Jo-Jo Reyes takes the mound for the Jays while Derek Holland steps up for the Rangers. Jo-Jo is still searching for his first win on the season. The main reason for that is... well... he hasn't pitched very well, pretty simple really. Meanwhile Holland has been good enough and also backed by a great offense. He is striking out almost a batter per inning so keep an eye out for the Ks.

Lineups

Jays vs Rangers 8:05pm. Lineup:Escobar 6, McCoy 4, Bautista 9, Lind 3, Rivera DH, Encarnacion 5, Snider 7, Arencibia 2, Patterson 8, Reyes P

Rangers lineup Kinsler DH, Andrus ss, Young 2b, Beltre 3b, Cruz lf, Napoli 1b, Murphy cf, Torrealba c, Moreland rf

Good news everybody! Encarnacion is back! and to celebrate.... Oh you know. Shuffling around the lineup McCoy moves up to the second spot in the lineup while Patterson drops down to the 9 spot. Rivera still batting 5th, but hopefully with the past couple of games in the books he is starting to break out. Hitting the ball hard is always a good sign.
