You're pretentious, this club sucks, I have beef. Let's do it. - May 28th 2011 - ChiSox @ Jays - Gamethread

Big day for Footie fans out there as ManU and Barcelonla are facing off in a battle of titans for the Champions League Final. There is going to be some overlap as that game starts at 2. And even I have to admit even though I don't follow Soccer at that level I kinda want to keep one eye on this game to see what happens. Thank goodness for streaming sites and Picture in Picture.

Yesterday was a good day. Things seemed to work out and the bullpen and even though Drabek was wild as usual he was able to limit the damage. Doesn't that seem like the story of the year for Drabek? He has been tight-roping out of danger all year long. It is a trend that can't really keep going or else he will get burned, Especially against teams in our own division.

On the injury news notes, J.P. Arencibia has a dislocated thumb on his throwing hand but apparently is available to go today if need be. From Mike Wilner on twitter:

Despite busted thumb, @jparencibia9 is good to go today. Overheard saying "I'm a hockey player!" #Bluejays #Jays

Way to make your Canadian fans happy J.P.!

The White Sox have their blender out again today as Adam Dunn bats in the 3rd different spot in the lineup in their 3rd game in Toronto. I guess they are trying to get him going as it has to be frustrating to pick him up in the offseason to see him perform like he has so far. For the Jays things are shuffled around a little bit as Eric Thames gets his first start in LF and Corey Patterson DHs. Interesting choice given that Patterson actually looked good in the field yesterday, but I'm not really against the decision.
