Good game yesterday by pretty much the entire team. Shawn Camp hit a bit of a bump in the top of the ninth allowing a few runners to score. Yes there was an error on a ball back up the middle that Escobar flubbed on, but then again that ball was hit up the middle where usually fielders aren't playing. Other then that he wasn't doing himself any favours either. Hard hits and Liners were getting sprayed all over the place. Luckily Frank Francisco didn't make it too much more interesting when he came in and got the soft liner to second.
Today we have two pitchers that could easily go the entire game and if things are clicking we could be in for hell of a pitchers duel. Also the roof is going to be open for the first time for a game so far in the season. WOOHOO!
According to Mike WIlner's twitter feed, Farrell has a couple of items to update for Aaron Hill's impending return. First of all he is currently flying back to Toronto today and is scheduled to be in the lineup tomorrow. Depending on what happens today with Romero (how deep he does) and bullpen and god forbid any injuries, that will determine if a pitcher goes down for Hill when he is activated.
Jose Bautista was scheduled to hit in the cage today and if everything goes well then he could be a pinch hit option today and a DH option tomorrow.
No pitch count for Ricky Romero today coming off the missed start due to strain, but they are going to keep an eye on him.

Interesting Notes: Davis has been dropped to the bottom of the order, and according to Farrell this is to allow him to get into the flow of the game before an at-bat and gives him a breather mid-game. I don't really argue with the decision but it is an odd reason given out. Rivera with his blazing speed moves up to the 3 spot in the lineup and Arencibia gets the bump to 5th behind Lind. David Cooper gets another start at DH.
