This place is like Dr. Seuss's worst nightmare! - June 15th 2011 - Orioles @ Jays - Gamethread

Arrieta is 8-3? And I traded him in the offseason in my fantasy league. Just one of a long list of mistakes I made going into this year. I won the auction for Manny too, he came cheap and I was really expecting big things from him this year.... DOH! Stupid fantasy baseball. Dumbest game ever.

Last night was a fun game. Although a little more stressful then it needed to be. It was discussed a lot in the recap thread so I don't think I need to re-hash the bullpen decisions by Farrell again, but lets just say the list of things that Farrell has done to tick me off keeps growing by the game. At what point can I stop saying... well he's new?

On the mound tonight we have Ricky Romero who has gone at least 7 innings in each of his last 5 outings. Each time pitching pretty well, but due to poor run support he is still looking at a 2-3 record over that time, and as Keith Law tells us. Wins are the most important stat of all. By the way, Tom agrees with Keith completely on this. You should all send him e-mails to outline your thoughts on the matter. Heh.

As a side note, my company had their annual picnic today which was awesome. They gave us bracelets to keep track of the number of drinks you had (could only have two) but with the number of pregnant women and people having to drive home early there were lots of extra drinks to be had. Hooray for a company sponsored buzz!
