The Vancouver Canadians season starts today, presuming the stadium wasn't burned down Wednesday. Wasn't that an awful display? I wonder if Winnipeg is reconsidering taking the Atlanta franchise. Anyway, here is the Canadians roster. There some players of note on the team. Justin Nicolino, a lefty pitcher was on Hugo's 'just missed out' group from our prospect list and Stephen McQuail, listed as an outfielder, was on my just missed out group.
Several of the players are from last year's draft: Justin Nicolino was a 2nd round pick, Shane Opitz 11th, Travis Garrett 19th, Jonathan Jones 29th, Pierce Rankin 38th, Stephen McQuail 30th and Drew Permison 42nd.
So if you are in Vancouver, take in a few games and lets us know how they are doing.
