If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball - June 26th 2011 - Jays @ Cards

Best team ever! We can't lose! Aaron Hill is back for good and we have a future top of the rotation starter in Villanueva!

Amazing what a few wins will do after a couple of losses eh?

Today's is Romero's first start after "calling out" the rest of the team. I said it on the podcast and I will say it again here, I believe there is absolutely nothing wrong with what Romero did and the fact that it became such a big deal is a joke. He didn't name names, all he did was say the team needs to hit the ball more and cannot relay on Lind and Bautista. I can't count the number of times I have heard that stock answer given in a sporting interview "Yeah we have to play as a team and not rely on <Insert player name here>". Honestly, Players and coaches say this all the time.

Anyways, Romero as we all know has been plagued by poor run support so far this year. his win loss record of 6-7 definately does not reflect his pitching ability so far this year. Look at this stats, he is pretty much top out of all the AL East aces, So ummm yeah... apparently he is good.

Cant get the lineups working at the moment but apparently Thames is out again. Ill be happy once we get back to the AL contests to have the extra batter back in the lineup, and I really hope that Farrell is going to flip back and forth with the decision of who is going to play third. I know EE looked good there yesterday but this is one of those times where you need to make a decision and stick with it.

And please. Don't screw up a double switch again.
