Savvy? - June 28th 2011 - Pirates @ Jays - Gamethread

The Pirates stroll into town and I think it is a very good thing to remember that this is not the same team that we have seen the past few years. While the Pirates may not be world series contenders they are a much improved team from previous seasons and this is definitely not a series that the Jays should be taking lightly.

Jo-Jo is pitching today and I know with the way he has pitched I really should be warming up to the guy. He is no longer looking like a guy that should be punted off the team but..... I'm sorry I just can't do it. I don't know what it is about the guy but I just don't like him. Can't explain it. I look at the stats and I know that he hasn't been all bad and he has had some bad luck with his W/L but even still... I blame Tom.

Today marks the first game that Bautista is going to be playing 3rd base since Spring Training. And if everyone remembers he didn't look the best there in Spring Training. I will definitely like our team more once we sort out where everyone is going to play but in the meantime I am happy to not have to watch Jayson Nix play everyday.
