Talk about a crazy couple days of baseball. With all the traffic on the site from Draft Threads, Game Threads and Craigs comment (Way to go buddy!) I have been having a hard time keeping up. Especially since work seems to frown upon me using company time to poke around on the site. The nerve.
Today might be a little more stressful over last nights game. We are missing our leadoff hitter and our reliever turn starter in Villanueva. I know Villanueva has been very good so far this year... umm.. I mean Lucky, no good, no lucky.... I dunno, which one makes it so that people don't yell at me? Joking aside I think he has looked quite good and is looking like quite a steal on the Free Agent market. Is he an all-star? No but he has been an extremely useful pitcher for us and to be completely honest that is much more then I was hoping for.
Bad news on Lawrie today. That really sucks. But, we have been getting along so far without him, I think the Jays can manage another 2-3 weeks without him. Lets all just hope that when he returns from his DL stint in Vegas he resumes hitting just like he did. In the meantime, someone get me the name of the pitcher that hit him... he just made the list.
