Looks like Casey Janssen is ready to return to the Jays. In order to make room in the pen, Luiz Perez has lost out and has been optioned back to the 51's in the PCL.
I for one am quite happy that Casey is back as I think he really can be one of our best relieving options, hopefully Farrell is able to work him into a game soon to see what we have and maybe he can help out at the back end of the games that have gone badly lately.
Our bullpen now contains, Frank Francisco, Jon Rauch, Jason Frasor, Marc Rzepczynski, Octavio Dotel, Casey Janssen and Shawn Camp.
Full press release after the jump. Welcome back Casey.
