Well last night went about as bad as things could possibly go. And the result? Jo-Jo Reyes was finally sent packing as he was DFA'd. The Jays now have 10 days to trade, assigned or let him walk. Personally I find the move confusing, why hold onto this guy for so long only to let him go just before the deadline? Even is he was just another warm body to pile onto a trade to balance things out. Regardless at this point with how people seem to indicate that Alex works its possible that he has exhausted even avenue and knows the writing is on the wall.
Bautista is going to get the day back at DH tonight. They mentioned on the broadcast that he was likely to DH 1 of the remaining two games in the series and the after the long stretches he was left standing in last nights game, it made perfect sense to do it today. Rajai Davis gets the start in CF as Patterson shifts to the bunch, Travis Snider and Eric Thames man the corner outfield spots.
No word yet as if the newest member of the bullpen arm Wil Ledezma has hit the park yet. The one good thing about the blowup last night was that Reyes still made it through 5 so our pen was completely depleted.
