The number means a lot of things, you can vote and depending what province you are in you can partake in a little of the ol' alcoholic beverage. If you add 100 to it, you get the number of innings that Romero has pitched and strangle enough he also sports a 1.18 WHIP. Lastly, its the number of years that separate Wakefield and Romero in age. Its the young all-star (Hey, he is in my mind) vs. the old (literally) guard.
It looks like Escobar is ready to go today, at least he is in the lineup at the moment, he was there yesterday as well but was scratched late so it is something to keep an eye on. After the blunder on the basepaths yesterday, Patterson earns himself a spot on the bench as Thames takes over in LF with Davis and Snider in the field at the other two spots.
Hopefully the Jays bats can catch up to the knuckleball and knock him around. One thing I noted was that Snider was still in the lineup. I seem to remember over the past couple of years Cito decided to keep Snider out of hte lineup against Wakefield a lot in order to "not mess up his timing", strangely enough in the small sample size of at-bats he has against Wakefield he has gone 3-6 with a double.
Keep it Civil and Go Jays Go
