Bring on the bats - August 19th 2011 - Jays @ A's - Gamethread

I have to apologize for not writing anything for the gamethreads the past week. Life has really been kicking me lately with a bad cold this week and one of those weeks from hell at the same time from the work side. So that in combination with the late games have combined for me just going blah heres some widgets.

That being said I have watch a lot of the games over the past week in a Cough Medicine induced haze... and I may have been watching actual BlueJays play baseball but this is a fun team to watch.... as a side note its probably a good thing they don't have those commercials with the Blue Jays in a Mad Men style commercial discussing marketing, my mind might have melted.

Tonight Brett Cecil looks to continue a series of strong starts against power starved A's. Cecil's undoing this season has usually been in regards to hard hit balls and home runs so that may play well tonight since he normally doesn't get nickel and dimed too much. Of course the bigger problem standing in the way tonight comes in the form of Rich Harden who last time out dominated the Jays.
