I have coffee, Lots of coffee - August 21st 2011 - Jays @ A's - Gamethread

Yay! Back to an early game vs the late games. I am really glad there are no more later games for the rest of the year. I really hate missing a a weeks worth of games but that is usually what happens during the week, and with the cold this week it really meant that I wasn't watching all of the games.

Today Luis Perez gets his first major league start in place of the recently demoted Brad Mills. It will be up to him to halt the A's and ensure a split series. After losing the series against the A's earlier this year at home I would really hate to lose another one against them.

Of course it may be a little harder to beat the A's without our regular lineup. Escobar is getting a regular day off and John MacDonald takes his spot. Aaron Hill is back at second and leading off? Really? Leading off? Oh boy. At the very least Bautista is back in the lineup today thankfully. EE bats cleanup as Lind is still out.
