Rumblings of a trade - August 23rd 2011 - Royals @ Jays - Gamethread

An earthquake and a Jays trade all in the same day? Well at least life isn't boring.

Brandon Morrow looks to continue what has been a great run for the Jays starters. Last time out he struck out 12 against his former team in Seattle. Hopefully he will be able to cut through the Royals just as easily. He is taking on Bruce Chen from the Royals who I didn't even realize was still in the league after he left Baltimore. Who knew!

At the moment Lind is still penciled into the lineup, Wilner mentioned on twitter that the wrist was still sore and he hadn't taken his official BP but was insisting that he was going to play. It would be nice to see but wrist and hand injuries never mean good things for batting. Either way its good to see him even close to coming back which would mean it really isn't too serious.
