The March for third - Aug 3rd 2011 - Jays @ Rays - Gamethread

It's amazing to watch a team like the Rays scuffle a bit like they have this year. It is not hard to pin down what the problems have been at all. You look at this pitching staff and you know the problems haven't been there. Really... the Jays have to go from David Price to James Shields? Well damn.

While I am not sure we can expect Carlos to throw as well as Ricky did yesterday, hopefully he can give the team a solid 6 innings keeping the Rays off the board.

The Jays throw out their everday lineup with the righty lefty combos. In his career Shields has been decent against the Jays, but with the Rays recent offensive struggles tonight could be the night we move into 3rd place in the AL East.
