We took a close look at Jose Bautista's 2011 season back here, but we could just say that he was pretty damn good. His career Jay numbers:

So what to expect this year? I don't know. Bill James' guess is 157 games, 38 home runs, 108 RBI and a .262/.385/.525 line.
I figure whatever I predict seems like an insult, but my guess: 145 games, 35 homers, 105 RBI and a .285/.420/.575 line. And second place in the MVP vote again. I get this feeling that if Jose saw my prediction he'd stare at my like a threw a pitch at his head.
So what say you?
