High as the Moon: GameThread for Toronto Blue Jays at Kansas City Royals, 23 April 2012, 8:10 PM EDT

Okay, everyone, break out the brooms!

The Jays look to sweep the four-game set against Kansas City tonight. The Jays got the Royals at the right time, let's just hope they can hold on to finish them off. Brandon Morrow takes the hill for our corvids and Bruce Chen will be his regal analog. The Colby lovers will be disappointed to see Rasmus bats last and the Lawrie lovers will be delighted to see that Brett may be the new #5 hitter. Lind's been dropped in the lineup, maybe shaking things up will be good for him. Chris Getz leads off (?) for the Royals, who've had interesting (shall we say?) leadoff batters throughout the series.

Full lineups after the jump.

Back to the Get Up Kids tonight since the Kansas City (or, actually, as hugo pointed out, Lawrence, KS (this was not a contest to see how many commas I could use, though, if it had been, I'd imagine that I'd have beaten my expectations))-based groups have been working well. We'll all be high as the moon if the Jays can hold on for the sweep. Hopefully Brandon's lights-out.

As always, ground rules are in effect:

Reminder a few ground rules for the gamethreads that are in effect.

1. Please no Gifs or images during the game threads. The threads go by quick and with a lot of people tend to slow down for people. We understand it isn't as bad for people already in the thread but anyone new coming in has a nightmare of a time loading mutliple images. --- As a side note as the game end we will lift the ban and you can go as crazy as you like.

2. Don't argue with any of the moderators. Think of it like arguing balls and strikes, you can get tossed. If you have a problem with the rules feel free to e-mail either Tom or another manager (our e-mail is at the bottom of the page).

And . . . Go Jays Go!
