The one that got away has come back to try and sink our boat and eat our proverbial Captain Quint! I always thought Cpt. Quint was one of the best characters ever and his presence in Jaws makes the film! His speech about the USS Indianapolis is one of the best of all time. To this day no one is sure who wrote it and he actually mentions a baseball player in it but I digress. You're here for Baseball not Movie talk.

Line-up note* Josh Hamilton is NOT in the line-up and that's a good thing because he's a born again excellent player.
*Side note, a friend of mine just did a film shoot with Brett Lawrie and a Victoria Secret model. When he asked young Brett about Yu Davish he said: "F(bad word Hugo's Mom would faint over)K Darvish! " -so once again, as they say, IT IS ON!
This is going to be a Hum-Dinger of a game so everyone better be in their best posting form. Let's really try and make this Game Thread one you'll want to print out, put in a frame and hang on your wall. Years from now, your great grandchildren can point to it and say "See what my Great Grandparent said when Jose BOATista hit the line drive that broke Yu Davish!"
I'll be at the game, as will everyone's favorite BBB hero Minor Leaguer. I've already informed security to be on the lookout for him as I know he plans to run onto the field naked with a giant cardboard cutout of Yu's face taped to his nasty bits!
Also Id like to send a Happy Birthday shout out to my little sister Lisa who turns 'older' today(like anyone ever reads this far)
Just as a reminder for new folks (full commenting guidelines here):
1. Please no gifs or images during the game threads. The threads go by quick and with a lot of people tend to slow down for people. If you want to put up a gif or picture you are more then welcome to do so on the BBB facebook page.
We understand it isn't as bad for people already in the thread but anyone new coming in has a nightmare of a time loading multiple images. --- As a side note as the game end we will lift the ban and you can go as crazy as you like, win or lose.
2. Don't argue with any of the moderators. Think of it like arguing balls and strikes, you can get tossed. If you have a problem with the rules feel free to e-mail us (e-mails at the bottom of the page)
3. No asking for, or linking to any illegal live streams of the game.
