I know it may be kind of crazy, but I actually don't mind the Marlins new stadium. At first I thought it was a giant eyesore and and everything was so green. Now I kinda feel like it has its charm and kinda fits Miami. That being said I still can't really get behind that Home Run thing in Left. You know what ultimately did me in? No not the girls dancing in the bar... but the first thing about the stadium that really put me off was the fact that everything was green. Then by chance I came across a photo of an empty Rogers Center, and everthing is so blue! I had to think to myself well who am I to say what colour is right. Now I can't really get behind all of the extra distractions at the game, but the stadium itself? Im ok with.
I am especially ok with the park because even though its supposed to be pitching friendly the Jays don't really seem to care. It has been fun watching all of the home runs over the past couple days. Tom and I talked about it with the latest podcast with Ian from BlueJayHunter (Which will be up soon!), but whether you want to believe in such things as optimal lineup formations something is working for the Jays at the moment and the move to put Lawrie and Rasmus at the top of the lineup is really working out. Now I suppose you could ask if it was the move that lead into the hot streak or just random happenstance, but frankly, I don't care as long as its working.
Today the Jays face a familiar face from previous seasons as Mark Buehrle takes the mound. In years past there always seemed to be at least one Halladay Buehrle matchup a year which was fantastic as both of them work at a great pace. The Jays have to be ready to swing the bat as Buehrle takes no time on the mound. Think of Frasor and then complete reverse it.
So this is it! This is the last time we will have to watch a pitcher bat for interleague this year. After today we can go back to having our DH as we are shipping off to Boston.
Tune in after the jump for todays lineup and series info.

Reminder a few ground rules for the gamethreads that are in effect.
1. Please no Gifs or images during the game threads. The threads go by quick and with a lot of people tend to slow down for people. We understand it isn't as bad for people already in the thread but anyone new coming in has a nightmare of a time loading mutliple images. --- As a side note as the game end we will lift the ban and you can go as crazy as you like.
2. Don't argue with any of the moderators. Think of it like arguing balls and strikes, you can get tossed. If you have a problem with the rules feel free to e-mail Tom
3. No linking to any illegal streams
