I Walk Through the Fenway, I've Got My Heart in My Hands: GameThread for Toronto Blue Jays at Boston Red Sox, 25 Jun 2012, 7:10 PM EDT

After a real shellacking at the hands (rays? fins?) of the Miami Marlins, our beloved corvids look to get back on track tonight in Boston. Henderson Alvarez will be pitching. Alvarez hasn't exactly been lights-out recently so let's keep our fingers crossed. Pitching for the Red Sox will be 24 year old Felix Doubront, who has actually had a pretty nice start to the season (8-3, 4.31 ERA). Doubront strikes out plenty (9.6 K/9) and limits the walks fairly well (3.2 BB/9) but is a bit prone to the gopher ball (1.3 HR/9, 40.5% gb-rate). Adam Lind is back up with the team but isn't in the lineup tonight against the southpaw Doubront.

Thanks to Jonathan Richman for tonight's thread title.
