Travis Snider Watch

With Rajai Davis in an 0 for 23 slump, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts over that time, the Travis Snider watch is intensifying.

Travis went 2 for 4, with a home run and a strikeout in the 51's 7-1 to Sacramento. Over the last 10 games, Travis is hitting .258/.452/.484, with 2 home runs, 11 walks and 8 strikeouts. It sort of looks like he is working on taking more walks, like Brett Lawrie did just before coming up last year.

It wasn't a great game for any other Vegas player, they only had 5 hits and Joel Carreno had another rough start, 3.1 innings, 4 hits, 4 earned, 5 walks, 3 k and 2 home runs. Others of note:

  • Anthony Gose: 1 for 3, walk. .290/.371/.418. Last 10 .270/.341/.378, 0 steals, 3 time caught.
  • Adeiny Hechavarria: 1 for 4, k. .316/.365/.445. Last 10 .359/.432/.564.
  • David Cooper: 1 for 4, k. .275/.366/.478. Last 10 .206/.349/.412.
  • Eric Thames: 0 for 3, walk, 3 k. .319/.406/.500. Last 10.364/.436/.667, 2 triples, 1 home run, 5 walks, 7 k. I'd rather see him in left than Rajai.

Other quick minor league notes:
