No one likes being road trip road kill (a road trip of 2-8 is road kill.) The current Triple A roster of the Toronto Blue Jays wasn't going to sweep a good team like the Tampa Bay Rays especially considering the voodoo hex the Rays have put on the Jays since 2008. Some people say it is the Rays excellent pitching, but I'm blaming Satan or the lack of Satan in their name. Anyway they're home and facing the... Yanks! Oh great.

Guess where the lyric comes from. Answer in the Jump

Geez. It is worse reading this from a TB perspective. I still put them here because it's good to see what the other side thinks, but it really does suck after a very miserable series like this.

1980 Steve McCatty goes the the distance in the A's extra-inning loss to Seattle. Joining Matt Keough, Mike Norris, and Rick Langford, the Oakland right-hander becomes the fourth hurler on the team this season to throw a 14-inning complete game fueling the criticism that manager Billy Martin overworks his pitching staff.

1994 The Expos win for the 20th time in their last 22 games when they blank Pittsburgh at Three Rivers Stadium, 4-0. The victory puts the team 35 games over .500, a franchise record, but sadly it will the last game Montreal will win due to the impending players' strike that will eventually end season.

Lyric is from Beck's "Loser." Seems fitting after this road trip.
