Blue Jays Attendance Prediction Winner is munniec!

Congratulations to Bluebird Banter commenter munniec for winning the prize-less attendance prediction contest that was announced in late December. If you don't recall, the contest winner would be the commenter who:

is closest to predicting the total official attendance of the Blue Jays' first homestand of the 2013 regular season without going over.

The winning bid by munniec was 222,222. The actual attendance of the six-game homestand, according to ESPNand Baseball-Reference, was 225,284. Although plen was closest numerically with his guess of 226,912, he went over so the honour goes to munniec.

For what it's worth, the total of 225,284 fans is second overall in the major leagues among the nine MLB teams who have had six home dates so far. The lead is held by the Dodgers who have counted 283,581 coming through the turnstiles.
