Happy Thanksgiving.
I have a lot to be thankful for, for one thing, we have power at the house this morning, some folks in town are doing without today and for the next little while.
I'm thankful for a happy and healthy family. I have a wife that puts up with someone that cares about baseball far more than any sane person should. Three boys that make me proud and keep me laughing. My oldest boy is back for the weekend, with his new jeep, and even though he brought my mother-in-law with him, I'm thankful he is here for the holiday.
I have some good friends for which I'm very thankful.
I'm thankful that I still get to play in this little sandbox, all these years later. Through good and bad baseball, this place is a lot of fun to have a part. Some days are harder than others, but i'm very lucky to get to do this.
I'm very thankful for the great people that play in the sandbox with me. I love reading posts from Minor Leauger, Scott C., Nick Ashborne, Gerse, Damaso's Burnt Shirt, Jared Macdonald and Noah Sherman. I'm very thankful that Bowling_Guy 25 and Gerse wield the ban hammer with style and make it so that I rarely have to be the bad guy.
I'm thankful for friends that are willing to travel with me to see games. I'd never be able to go to so many places without friends coming along. Thank you.
I am thankful for the people that read the site. Our numbers comtinue to grow, which blows my mind. I am thankful for the quality of the comments too, I learn stuff every day.
I'm thankful for the FanPosts we get on the site. I love reading them.
I'm thankful for emails we get commenting on the site, making suggestions or just saying hi. It's great to meet folks reading the site. I'm even thankful for the odd email we get from irate Yankee or Red Sox fans, taking me to task for daring to say something less than positive about their teams,f it reminds me how lucky I am to be a Jay's fan.
I am thankful for the Jays. The season might not have turned out the way we would have liked, but they gave me hours of entertainment, and plenty to talk about.
Tell us what makes you thankful.
