The first of three at Yankee Stadium. Baseball there is no fun, I know that from personal experience.
The starting pitchers are Mark Buehrle (10-6, 2.86 in 20 starts) for the good guys vs. Hiroki Kuroda (6-6, 3.88) for the Evil Empire. Buehrle hasn't had a win in awhile. His last 4 starts haven't been good, he's allowed a .320/.360/.427 batting line against, with a 4.32 ERA. Kuroda has been good in his last 4 starts, giving up a .216/.264/.343 line with a 2.63 ERA.
I do think that if we are hitting, it doesn't matter how good the pitcher we are facing is doing. And we have been hitting.
