GameThread for game 133: Yankees @ Blue Jays

Go Jays Go

Let's have more of this.

So the Yankees are in town.

What is the over/under on how much Jeter, Jeter, Jeter talk I can take from Buck and Pat before I hit the mute button. I'm figuring sometime before the second inning. I'm going to skip the pregame show, I'd like to make it to the game before going into Jeter overload.

There is a tiny bit of Blue Jays news: Brandon Morrow is on his way to Buffalo, so we might see him sometime in early September, all going well (Tom, when has all gone well for Morrow?).

Yankees have a lefty going so we have an almost all right-handed batting order, other than return of Colby Rasmus (in the DH spot). I wonder if Gibby is trying to make a point with him. I'd think it would be a good idea to give Melky or Bautista the day at DH.

Today's Lineups

NEW YORK YANKEES TORONTO BLUE JAYS
Jacoby Ellsbury - CF Jose Reyes - SS
Derek Jeter - SS Melky Cabrera - LF
Martin Prado - 3B Jose Bautista - RF
Mark Teixeira - 1B Edwin Encarnacion - 1B

Brett Gardner - LF Steve Tolleson - 2B
Ichiro Suzuki - RF Colby Rasmus - DH

Remember we have rules around here. Some reminders, don't talk about illegal streams, don't argue the rules, don't piss off the mods and don't be terrible. Also no Gifs or pictures until the game ends.
