Two triples for Dalton Pompey, Jays beat Orioles

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

Orioles 2 Blue Jays 4

It was the Dalton Pompey show tonight. He hit two triples, a double and made a great catch in left field. He also had 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. He out played  Anthony Gose who had 1 hit but struck out twice. Gose did make a terrific catch in CF.

Adam Lind,  Edwin  Encarnacion, and Munenori Kawasaki had 2 hits each.

Drew Hutchison had a nice outing in his last start of the season. He went 5 innings, allowed 5 hits, 2 earned, 1 walk with 8 strikeouts. He was at 88 pitches, so likely could have gone longer but Gibby took him out and let Marcus Stroman relieve. Marcus having just finished serving his 5 game suspension. He pitched the last for innings allowed just 1 hit and picking up his first MLB save.

That gives us 82 wins on the season, a huge improvement on last year.
