That was a fun few hours, where we were Tholeless, but, as with all things, it didn't last long.
The Blue Jays announced that they have signed Josh Thole to a 1-year, $800,000, because there is no one else on the face of the earth that can catch a knuckleball.
Thole has been a Blue Jay for 3 seasons, playing 120 games, hitting .212/.283/.258 with 1 home run and 17 RBI (as well as 3 caught stealing, why would he try to steal?).
Oh well, I guess it is best that Russell Martin doesn't have to catch R.A. He can use the day off every 5. I shouldn't complain too much, he does do a good job catching the knuckleball. I just hate watching him bat.
