In the televised game, Marco Estrada had an ok start. 3 innings, 5 hits (4 singles and a double), 1 earned, no walks and 3 strikeouts. Some hard hit balls but he looked pretty good all in all. Brought his ERA down to 7.59 for the spring. He had that one really bad inning that really killed his ERA.
Other pitchers:
- Liam Hendriks: 1.2, 1 hit, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts. 3.52
- Jeff Francis: 0.2, 1 walk, 1 earned, 1 k. 7.11 ERA. It is bad luck when your ERA sells slurpees.
- Roberto Osuna:0.1, 3 hits, 1 earned, 1 walk, 1 strikeout. 0.90. He wasn't hit all that hard. Couldn't expect him not to get hit all spring.
- Colt Hynes: 1.1, walk. 0.00 ERA. Looks to have his spot all wrapped up.
- Miguel Castro: 1.0, 3 hits, 2 earn, 1 k. 1.80 ERA. He wasn't helped by his defense. He got a strikeout, gave up a line drive single to center, then a soft ground ball that rolled through the infield. After than he got the easy double play grounder, but second baseman Shane Optiz double clutched on the throw to first. Then Melky Mesa missed diving for a line drive to right (not an easy play but he should have made it). Melky did get up quick and made a good throw home, trying to get the second runner coming home, but Josh Thole dropped the throw.
- Cory Burns: 1.0, 1 hit. 3.86.
Batters:
- Jose Reyes: 1 for 3, steal. .333.
- Russell Martin: 1 for 3, walk, .220.
- Jose Bautista: 1 for 3, double.. .324.
- Edwin Encarnacion: 1 for 3, k. .083.
- Josh Donaldson: 1 for 3. .317.
- Dalton Pompey: 0 for 3. .327.
- Devon Travis: 1 for 3. .340.
- Kevin Pillar: 0 for 3. .250. Made a couple of nice catches in the outfield.
- Josh Thole: 1 for 3, 2 k. .286.

In the other game, Randy Wolf was hit pretty hard. 2.2 innings, 4 hits, 2 walks, 2 k, 4 earned, 1 home run. Unless things go really badly, we won't see him in Toronto this year.
Other pitchers:
- Aaron Loup: 1.1, 2 k. 2.45
- Todd Redmond: 1.0, 1 hit, 2 walks, 1 k. 1.80.
- Wil Browning: 0.1, 2 hits, 3 unearned runs, 1 walk (Ryan Goins made an error that cost him).
- Luis Perez: 1.1, 1 hit, 1 earned, 2 k.
- Gregory Infante: 1.1, 2 k.
Batters:
- Steve Tolleson: 0 for 3. .258. He came out of the game after being hit by pitch but it sounds like he is ok, but they are going to get him an x-ray just in case.
- Daric Barton: 2 for 4, home runs. .250.
- Dioner Navarro: 0 for 2, walk. ..222.
- Justin Smoak: 1 for 4. .190.

- Dayan Viciedo: 1 for 3. .216.
- Munenori Kawasaki: 1 for 3, double. .300.
- Ryan Goins: 0 for 4, 2 strikeouts. .256.
Tomorrow the Jays host the Orioles and it is on Sportsnet.
