We are getting closer to real baseball and the Lineups are showing it.

There was a tweet from Barry Davis saying the Dioner Navarro was taking ground balls at first base and that he played there some in the minors. I'm trying not to read it as a sign that the team isn't taking Justin Smoak north. I don't want to watch Dioner at first, ever. I see so much benefit in using Smoak. Good defense. Keep Edwin at DH and healthy. And the possibly of Smoak becoming another power bat in the lineup. But the team has to find a way to trade Navarro first. Personally, I don't need anything in return for him, just someone willing to pick up his salary and the gain of a roster spot is enough for me.

Mark Buehrle gets the start. He's had a very good spring, allowing just 3 runs in 9.2 innings. He hasn't walked a batter yet.

The game is on Sportsnet.
