GameThread for Game 9: Rays @ Jays

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

After losing our first 2 home games, each by a run. I hope that the bats get going tonight.

Gibby's move Donaldson into the second spot in the order and has Navarro gets to catch Buehrle again. I'd guess this is the way Gibby's going to do it. It does seem like they work well together. Buehrle pitched 6 innings, in our 12-5 win over the Orioles. He was hit pretty hard but then he had a big lead early. I hope he gets a big lead early again.

This is Erasmo Ramirez' first start of the season for the Rays. He's made one relief appearance, giving up 6 hits, 3 walks and 7 runs in 2 innings.

I love this from Gibby:
